Who these terms are with

This website (frommby.com) is operated by Gamma Epsilon Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (company number 16534367), with its registered office at Coach House, Tibbs Farm, Udimore Road, Udimore, Rye, England TN31 6AR. In these terms "we", "us" and "frommby" mean that company. "You" means anyone who uses the site.

By using the site, you accept these terms

Using frommby — visiting the site, browsing the pages, or submitting the waitlist form — means you accept these terms. If you don't, the kindest thing is to close the tab.

You need to be 18+

The site is intended for adults. If you're under 18, please don't submit the form. We won't knowingly hold data about a child; if you're a parent or guardian and think we have, email hello@frommby.com and we'll remove the record.

What the service does today

Right now frommby is a landing page and a waitlist. There's no buying, no selling, no listings and no money changing hands. By joining the list, you're telling us you'd like to hear from us when we launch a marketplace where you live. You're not buying anything, and we're not promising you a particular product, price, or producer.

Joining the waitlist

By submitting the form, you're confirming that:

• The details you give us are accurate.
• You're using your own email address.
• You're happy for us to contact you about frommby's launch and related early-stage news.

You can leave the list at any time by emailing hello@frommby.com. See our privacy notice for the detail on how we handle your information.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Submit information that isn't yours, isn't true, or isn't yours to share.
• Use the site to send spam, scrape data, or test for vulnerabilities without permission.
• Attempt to interfere with the site or the services it runs on.
• Use the site for anything illegal.

We may remove your record or block your access if we reasonably think you've broken any of these rules.

Our content

The frommby name, logo, copy and design are owned by Gamma Epsilon Ltd. The producer photography is licensed under the relevant photographer's terms. You're welcome to share a link to the site; please don't lift content wholesale without asking.

Your content

The only thing you submit today is your waitlist record. You keep ownership of what you write in the notes field; by submitting it, you give us permission to read it, store it, and use it to shape what frommby does next.

We may change the site (and these terms)

We're at an early stage and frommby will keep changing. We might add features, change them, or remove them. When we update these terms, we'll change the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Substantial changes will be flagged to people on the waitlist.

No promises beyond what's written here

We try hard to keep the site accurate and available, but we can't promise it'll be perfect, uninterrupted, or error-free. The site is provided "as is". To the fullest extent allowed by law, we exclude all implied warranties.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for things the law doesn't let us limit — for example, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud.

Subject to that, we won't be liable for indirect or consequential losses (lost profits, lost business, lost opportunities and the like) that flow from your use of the site. Our total liability to you in connection with the site is capped at £100.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
